So, as I’m sure you can tell, Honesty Time is looking quite different these days. We had a meeting via Google+ last Thursday, and we decided to make some changes. I’ve been working hard on some of that stuff for the past week, so I didn’t have much time to prepare a post for today. That’s why I decided to write about what’s going on with our site right now.
The most obvious change, of course, is the way the site looks. We decided that after more than a year, it was time to make a change in our design. We wanted something more clean and streamlined, and this is what we chose. Also, there’s a giant picture of our faces at the top, which is good news for everyone. Please, let us know what you think!
The most exciting development is our new Twitter account, manned by the brilliant and hilarious Allyssa. For all things Honesty Time news and quips, follow us at @HonestyTime5. It’s the best way to be notified when we post something new and to hear us talk about things we care about, aka food and Harry Potter.
And, lastly, my personal project (that I very cryptically alluded to at the end of my post last week) is now up and running. We’ve named it the EncycBROpedia, and it’s your resource for all the words and phrases that define Honesty Time, both as a blog and as a real life group of friends. It’s definitely a work in progress at the moment, but you should still check it out. I’m working hard to list and define all the things we say, so our readers better understand who we are and what we’re about. Like any group of close friends, over the years we have developed a language that most people probably don’t understand. But now we’re trying to bring the world in on the joke, through the EncycBROpedia.
That’s basically it for now. There are a couple other changes that might be popping up over the next few weeks or months, so look out for that. Hopefully next week I’ll be more prepared to write an actual post, but for now I’m concentrating on our EncycBROpedia. So check out the new site and the Twitter, and let us know what you think. And, please, if you have any suggestions on how to make the site even better, of if you totally hate what we’ve done so far, let us know in the comments. We would love to hear your thoughts!
