Beach Day

I love the beach, but I rarely get to go.  Usually I work Monday-Friday every week, even with it being a ‘part-time job’, which makes it difficult to fit in beach days.  Sure there are always the weekends, but the beach is so crowded and the traffic getting down there on Saturday or Sunday makes it feel as though it is not worth the stress and aggravation.  The beach is supposed to be relaxing!

Needless to say, I decided to treat myself.  I hardly ever take off from work, but I knew I needed to fit in at least one more beach day this season (counting this time I have been only twice this year).  I did not realize how badly I needed a break from my job until I woke up on Monday and knew I didn’t have to go in to work.  Instead, I went to the beach with my boyfriend and met one of my best bros, Lori, at her house and our adventure began.

We completed the “Jersey Shore Hat Trick” and my god let me tell you it was just what I needed.  What is the Jersey Shore Hat Trick or JSHT you may ask?  Well, it is when you go to WaWa, the beach, and Surf Taco of course.  Sound perfect? It really was.  It made me realize that I should do this more often.  Not necessarily go to the beach, but take a day or so off of work to relax and take a breather for a minute.  What do you do to relax and forget about work?

Here is a pic from the beach
